Few check that the negotiated price is what got billed, that the delivered quantity matches the invoice, or that promised credits were applied. • Invoice vs. contract price — the supplier bills $44.20 against a contracted $42.80; certified line by line.
• Delivered vs. invoiced quantity — the invoice says 50 cases; the signed receiving log says 47.
• Credits and duplicates — credit memos promised but never applied, and invoices billed twice.
• Surcharges and tax — fees the agreement doesn't allow, and sales tax charged where it shouldn't be.
